DATE

TIME

10am - 2pm

Senior Casting Director of Maura Fay Casting, Lou Mitchell is one Australia’s must-see Casting Directors.

TAFTA is very excited to be offering this workshop as Lou does not hold these often due to her busy schedule.

This is your chance actors to be seen by a high profile casting director who casts for some of the most ground-breaking projects such as:

Secret City, Safe Harbour, Bite Club, Pine Gap, Hotel Mumbai, Guardians of the Tomb, The Wrong Girl, Janet King, Wonderland and many more!

In this workshop Lou will help actors improve their understanding of the industry and the audition process, providing invaluable information and insights into the casting world.

In this in-room workshop you will be allocated a scene that you will need to learn and perform on the day. You’ll be given feedback and direction up on the floor from Lou and the opportunity to run the scene again with these notes. The session will end with a Q&A.

Scripts will be allocated for this workshop five days before the workshop begins, so please keep an eye on your inbox and Junk folders after booking in.

Actors attending this workshop understand that the presence of a Casting Director is not a guarantee or promise of employment. All actors should further understand that the intent of this class is solely educational and not a form of job interview or audition.
