Quarantine Content: ‘Claymates’
Actors, filmmakers and creatives all over Australia are still practicing their art and creating content during lockdowns all over the country. Quarantine Content celebrates the tenacity of actors who are creating their own content while the industry is in hiatus.
This week we have another short film from the prolific Teig Sadhana, this one shot, edited and performed entirely by himself during his mandatory 14 day quarantine at his home in Canberra.
In Teig's words:
"Fresh off the plane from New York and locked into mandatory quarantine with a copious amount of clay, I began to find humour in the way I was becoming outnumbered by the creations I was making. This inside joke with myself rapidly began to morph into a short film, ‘Claymates’. I wanted to play with the idea of regretting company after having yearned for it (or manufactured it I guess) - there’s certainly some truth in the feeling of social interaction becoming obtrusive."
EQUIPMENT USED:
Camera: Canon 700D (18-55mm & 50mm).
Audio: Rode VideoMicro Compact Mic.
