Quarantine Content: ‘A Lonely Harvest’
Actors, filmmakers and creatives all over Australia are still practicing their art and creating content during lockdowns all over the country. Quarantine Content celebrates the tenacity of actors who are creating their own content while the industry is in hiatus.
Melbourne-based actor/filmmaker Liv Rian (EyeBallButter) created not one, but TWO films during isolation. They were each shot over three days. Each story focusses on how isolation affects us in vastly different ways.
A LONELY HARVEST
Created by Liv Rian and Teig Sadhana
Space. Time. Silence.
Two figures roam Ngarigo Land.
For one it is his first steps towards consciousness; for the other, these are her first moments shared.
A Lonely Harvest.
In Liv's words:
"We were looking to explore a location's capacity as a character as well as the atmosphere that can be created in vast open farm land NSW - its about isolation in a way but less about absence of company and more about what it’s like to learn to share company"
Filmed in Dalgety NSW, The snowy monaro region, Ngarigo Land
