Declan Eames
Declan is known for his work on many well known Australian and International Film & TV projects!
Declan is a Melbourne based TV drama director who has directed series, serials and documentaries for all Australian networks, he has also spent periods in the UK and Ireland directing drama and documentaries for the BBC and RTE. As a regular director on Casualty, the BBC’s long running medical drama series, he received a BAFTA nomination in 2010. Declan has directed many iconic local television dramas including The Secret Life of Us, McLeod’s Daughters, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and more recently Neighbours.
Declan is a graduate of University College Dublin and Bristol University’s prestigious postgraduate film and television school. He has been involved with TAFTA for several years teaching screen acting skills in Melbourne and Sydney. Declan’s professional reputation is based on strong creative leadership and sensitivity to the talents of all participants. He is a highly communicative team leader known for a calm and collaborative work ethic and for achieving memorable screen performances.
