If you haven't got any solid footage behind you but you'd like something to show around or even just need an updated copy of your skills, TAFTA is the perfect place to get your showreels done. These will be shot on location in Killara, and you will be guided and directed by the founder of TAFTA, John Orcsik, and your time slot will be organised with Brenton (the studio manager). You will come away with not only a professionally shot scenes but we also take the time to consider each individual’s personality and marketability, focusing on exactly how you want to portray yourself. No matter what level you are – whether you are just starting out or merely in need of refreshing your reel, then this is a great opportunity for you. “For me, I need to be able to hear everything and see everything. I need it to be in a common file format that my computer can easily open. I prefer one or two simple scenes that don’t involve gun wielding or bloody-faced weeping. Those kinds of highly dramatic scenes tend to be difficult to gauge acting ability from when they’re taken out of the context of a film or TV series. Just a couple of scenes, if there’s a difference in tone between them, that’s useful, so a comedic scene and a scene from a drama is useful."
