We are very excited to have Stevie Ray, Casting Director at the powerhouse Casting Office McGregor Casting doing a one-day Casting Workshop at TAFTA!

They cast Ongoing TV Series such as:
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Wolf Like Me, Bump and Year Of, Last Days of the Space Age, Fisk, Colin from Accounts and more!
This extended day-long Casting Workshop is an unbelievable opportunity to work in the room with a Casting Director responsible for some of Australia’s most high-profile dramas. Learn how to make an impact with your auditions, what McGregor Casting look for in an actor, and how to navigate the world of self tapes vs in room auditions.
You will also get an period to ask Stevie any question you want about the casting process, the industry, and acting. And we mean everything. Stevie is an open book in these sessions, something you will not get from any other casting workshop!

Deep understanding of the casting process, audition process, and tips on how to stand out in your next self tape or in-room audition
1-on-1 work with Stevie, including detailed feedback
Connecting with your scene partner quickly in an audition scenario

Stevie will begin the workshop with a Q&A where you are encouraged to ask any and all questions about the industry, Casting and Acting
Stevie will explain in detail his Casting Process
Filming of your scenes, taking Stevie’s direction
