Have you ever wondered how to put together your “Actors Package” which includes your headshot, showreel and CV? As part of this series Daniel will talk you through the AGENT/ ACTOR relationship and help you understand the process form an Agent’s Perspective.
In this workshop you will get to ask all the burning questions you have always wanted to ask an agent and perform a scene for Daniel who will give you honest, useful feedback on not only your performance, but also on what you could change or improve on in your “Actors Package”.

About Daniel:
DANIEL SCHARF has worked in the film and television industry producing short films, documentaries, six feature films, children’s television drama series and most recently as a talent agent. Daniel was the producer of two highly acclaimed Geoffrey Wright features including the AFI award winning ROMPER STOMPER (1992) which starred Russell Crowe and Jacqueline McKenzie and METAL SKIN (1994), which starred Aden Young, Ben Mendelsohn, Nadine Garner and Tara Morice. Prior to this Daniel was the Australian producer on the first German/Australian feature co-production, THE PRISONER OF ST. PETERSBURG (1989), starring Noah Taylor and the Australian producer on the French/Australian feature co-production ISABELLE EBERHARDT (1990), starring Mathilda May and Peter O’Toole. Daniel also produced with Rod Bishop the feature film BODY MELT (1993) starring Lisa McCune and William McInnes.
Daniel worked as a producer with Jonathan M. Shiff on children’s television drama, CYBERGIRL, PIRATE ISLANDS, WICKED SCIENCE and SCOOTER: SECRET AGENT. In 2003/4 Daniel produced the feature film, TOM WHITE, starring Colin Friels.
Most recently Daniel was an Executive Producer on the ROMPER STOMPER TV series for STAN.
Since 2012, Daniel has established and run PROFILE CREATIVE, an agency representing actors, as well as a few select writers and directors. He has run training workshops in house for writers and actors to help them develop their skills and assist them to be able to pursue work opportunities. Daniel’s strength is his ability to nurture individual talent and foster creative teams and partnerships.
In May 2003 Daniel received a Centenary Medal for Service To Australian Society and Australian Film Production.
