Founded in 2012, Visible Studios began as a passion project by Nick Kozakis, who had just graduated from Swinburne in 2011 with a focus on music videos. Starting with independent artists, he took on small videography and editing jobs for social content, gradually building a name in the industry.

This early groundwork led to collaborations with major Australian artists like Hilltop Hoods, Sia, Illy, and Pez. As the studio's reputation grew, Nick partnered with colourist and post-producer Timothy Whiting, who took the reins as lead producer at Visible Studios. Together, they expanded into larger commercial projects, working with high-profile clients such as Tupperware, Woolworths and many more.

With a growing portfolio and industry presence, Visible Studios forged strong relationships with creative agencies, producing national-scale advertising campaigns while continuing to push the boundaries of music video production. This journey culminated in a breakthrough collaboration with Tones and I, in partnership with Sony Music and Elektra Records. The result? A global sensation, Dance Monkey, amassing over 2.2 billion YouTube views and earning multiple accolades, including an ARIA nomination in 2019. Visible Studios has received four ARIA nominations in total, and winning the ARIA for Best Music Video in 2024.

On set of Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism

Multiple award nominated and winner feature film, directed by Nick.

With its footprint now firmly established on the global stage, Visible Studios set its sights on feature films and narrative storytelling. This vision materialised with Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism, directed by Nick Kozakis. The film was acquired by The Coven (Terrifier series) and XYZ Films for U.S. distribution, topping box offices in international markets. It also premiered at major festivals, including MIFF and Sitges—where it won the Audience Choice Award for Best Film (2023)—and received three AACTA nominations (2024).

Across its diverse body of work, Visible Studios has earned multiple industry accolades, solidifying its reputation as a leading force in music videos, advertising, and narrative film. With an ambitious slate of projects ahead, Nick continues to push creative boundaries and shape the industry’s future.
