Industry Driven with Rarmian Newton is a 4 week short course, designed for the advanced actor. Across 4 sessions, scripts will be looked at from multiple angles to assist the actor with freeing their performance from expectation and to challenge their approach. With experience in both the American and Australian Entertainment Industries, Rarmian provides a rare insight for actors who are driven to work in both industries

ABOUT RARMIAN

long time ex student of TAFTA, Rarmian was most recently seen on NBCs NEW AMSTERDAM, as a Series Regular on crime drama MR. MERCEDES (no options), recurring on AMC series NOS4A2 and CBS psychological thriller Tell Me A Story written & executive produced by Kevin Williamson (Scream franchise). Known for his leading role on the NBC series RISE with writers Jason Kamis and Jeffrey Seller (Hamilton). His first Series Regular role was on the ABC drama THE FAMILY opposite Joan Allen, Alison Pill, Liam James and Zach Gilford for executive producer Jenna Bans (Scandal, Grey's Anatomy).

Other notable credits include the lead role in the Dream Works HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON Arena Spectacular tour which garnered rave reviews across the US & being awarded Best Male Actor at the 2008 Helpmann Award's for his leading role in BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSCIAL. At home in Australian, Rarmian is known for his recurring role of Michael Slade on the acclaimed teen drama DANCE ACADEMY and as the musician young Gary Beers in Shine Australia's television special NEVER TEAR US APART: THE UNTOLD STORY OF INXS. He has outstanding physical skills including professional dance, singing, acrobatics and parkour. Rarmian currently divides his time between New York and Los Angeles.
