Cinzia Coassin began her career as an actor in theatre, film, and television before transitioning to behind-the-scenes roles, driven by a desire to challenge herself and explore new creative opportunities. As a Casting Director at CCC, she works in various areas of the entertainment industry, including development, production, and financing, and brings extensive knowledge to her teaching on topics like acting and casting processes. Cinzia excels in helping actors find their confidence and energy, offering guidance on making unique, connected choices while sharing her deep understanding of the industry.
Her career has also focused on nurturing cultural diversity, notably through her work with the Multi-Cultural Arts Festival, Carnivale, and the Ten to One short film festival, which showcased films from diverse filmmakers. Cinzia has been involved in high-profile projects such as Spartacus, Evil Dead (Remake), Game of Thrones, and A Wrinkle in Time, and earned a Casting Guild Award nomination in 2019 for her work on Unsound. In addition to casting, she coordinated extras for Occupation - Rainfall and worked on other series like Suka and Weapons of Choice. With a busy slate of upcoming feature films and TV projects, Cinzia continues to make significant contributions to the entertainment industry.

In this workshop, Cinzia will workshop your scene with you multiple times, using different rehearsal techniques to get you to your final performance. Be prepared to work across a wide range of genres, formats and styles in this unique Casting Workshop!
PREPARATION:
We will send you a scene 5 to 7 days prior to class commencement. Please ensure you have learnt this scene - treat this like an audition!
