In her session Micaeley will share insights into the casting process, while simulating a mock audition environment. This gives actors the experience of a real audition. Micaeley will provide feedback on your performance, giving you tips and tricks that can help you nail your next audition and answer any burning questions you may have about the industry, casting and performance.
Micaeley has worked as a Casting Director for over 22 years on some of Australia’s most ground-breaking TV and Film Productions as well as casting national T.V commercials for some of Australia’s biggest consumer brands. Anousha Zarkesh Casting has also gained a reputation for a specialised service, championing cultural diversity and local indigenous talent. They have also won multiple AACTA and CGA Awards for their casting prowess.
She works across all genres including political satire, drama, comedy, telemovies, documentary series and film. Micaeley’s recent work includes: ‘The Office - Australia’, ‘The New Boy’, ‘The Stranger’, ‘Class of 07’, ‘Kid Snow’, ‘The Bali Bombings’, ‘The End’, ‘Preppers’, ‘Firebite’, ‘Total Control Season 2’, ‘High Ground’.
