Quarantine Content: ‘Final Call Podcast’

Actors, filmmakers and creatives all over Australia are still practicing their art and creating content during lockdowns all over the country. Quarantine Content celebrates the tenacity of actors who are creating their own content while the industry is in hiatus.

As two 2019 graduates from the VCA Music Theatre course, Jack and Lily were excited to use that momentum to apply their training into practice. 2020 clearly hasn’t panned out like anyone expected… so they decided to refocus their passion into opening up a new platform for artists across Australia that cover the whole spectrum of the multifaceted theatre community. Being stuck at home sucks. But conversations about change for the better of the arts industry don’t. COVID has provided the unique opportunity to stop and lean into networks online, empowering a generation of voices that are only getting louder. Join this pair of housemates, as they chat to some truly incredible people who share their perspectives on how all of us can shape this industry into one that shares work that everyone can see themselves in. The arts are something to be taken seriously. What is your commitment to Australian theatre?
