COURSE OVERVIEW:
If you think working in commercials is just about a “look” think again! In this Online Commercial Casting Masterclass, Jo will guide and teach you how to combine all your training into auditioning specifically for commercials. You will learn the Do’s and Don’ts, on how to approach a casting brief as well as a commercial casting call back over zoom, and Jo will work with you to show you how to really stand out in the crowed as well as empower you to take control of every opportunity presented to you. With so many commercial casting opportunities now done via self tape, this online masterclass is not to be missed.
While Film and TV Auditions can be challenging, TVC’s present their own unique set of challenges. Jo will give you the tools to be confident, prepared and tapped into your creativity. Learn how to make your home space a studio space that you can effectively create in! Jo will also run through grounding exercises and breath work that you can use to centre yourself before an audition, and approach your tape confidently and with your full creative expression at your arsenal.

ABOUT JO:
Jo Briant is a Casting Director at Fountainhead Casting and has been a successful actor for 37 years. She has worked extensively in theatre, film and television in New Zealand and Australia appearing in projects such as The End the Beginning, Life Goals, Bondi Slayer, Reckoning, Smokescreen, Kairos, Dave and Theo, The Fighting Season, MotherLode, Psychoanalysis, Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am, Home and Away, The Moodys, All Saints, Water Rats, Murder Call, Big Sky, Shortland Street and numerous commercials and voiceovers. She is also an experienced Director, Acting Coach, Success Coach and Energy Healer. She loves combining acting, casting and coaching, as her wealth of experience and intimate understanding of an actors world both on screen and off enables her to guide other actors in a fun and nurturing way.
