Some of the requirements to complete this program will also develop your media writing skills and creative ability to add a personal Gonzo journalistic style of presentation. On completion of this course our students usually go on to study online writing, focused Script Writing and Screenplay.

TAFTA is a career Academy dedicated to providing you with up to date practical creative and industry related programs that develop your VOCAL AND VOICE TECHNIQUES. The skills you will develop will help you explore and decode your voice type and your ‘Tessitura’ which is a comfortable range of your voice register to speak better as actors, media personalities, public and keynote speakers, voice over artists, commentators and singers.
This program is designed as a general scope, variety based but individually crafted course based on the Italian tradition ‘Bel Canto School Of Voice.’
A course for beginners, intermediate and professionals to master the vocal method. After completion of this course depending on what outcome and pathway you have chosen it might lead you to do further more focused study in either ‘TV Presenting’ and ‘Public Speaking’ for our media colleagues or ‘Musical Theatre’ and ‘Opera’ which are also offered through TAFTA. TAFTA is a career Academy dedicated to providing you with up to date practical creative and industry related programs that develop your VOCAL TECHNIQUES FOR MUSICAL THEATRE & OPERA. This 6 week course will take you on a journey into the world of show business and performance on an international level in the forms of Musical Theatre and Opera. Depending on your skill level you will be stimulated and given ear training, vocal pedagogy, scales, some musical theory and of course singing and diction training in German, Italian, Russian and French.
This is a very specific course for serious and curious participants who want to explore, develop and strengthen their physical instrument which is the voice. Recommended for all voice types and levels.
You will be trained by our industry expert James Young who is an Australian Opera & Musical Theatre performer and Winner of both the 2021 John Wegner and Joan Sutherland & Richard Bonynge Bel Canto award(s). Australian baritone James Young has worked with some of the world’s leading vocal pedagogues, coaches and conductors. The 2022 season sees James returning to Schloss Henfenfeld for performances in the title role of Mozart’s Don Giovanni. After liederabends in Bayreuth and Nuremberg, he will perform the role of Leopold in Benatzsky’s operetta Im weißen Rößl followed by performances of Baculus in Lortzing’s opera Der Wildschütz at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg,

TAFTA is a career Academy dedicated to providing you with up to date practical creative and industry related programs that develop your DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING SKILLS. This 6 week intensive course will give you the opportunity to attempt the synthesis of film, camera, human perception, and the sensual world. Recognizing the influence of theory and practice, this course combines the study of existing documentary films especially the genre of fiction and you will create your own film production by the end of the program which will be submitted to our partner Film Festivals internationally. We will begin by briefly tracing the history of film and ethnographic practice (films that inspire, the continued debate as to the moral, ethical, socio-political, and aesthetic implications and the you will learn the successful formula of documentary style films that are showcased on NETFLIX and larger platforms which focus on the personal story of a bigger story. There is an opportunity for the best filmmaker to join our directing scholarship program after completion as well.

TAFTA is a career Academy dedicated to providing you with up to date practical creative and industry related programs that develop your TELEVISION PRESENTING SKILLS. This 6 week intensive course will give you the opportunity to attempt with our industry expert all the details of how to become a great Television and Media personality, both in the physical realm and on social media. You will develop yourself as a media personality that understands the importance of good script reading and preparation, live camera positioning, understanding of lighting and sound checks in the studio and voice techniques that will help you become a more prolific and confident speaker and television presenter. This program is offered both online and face to face in the studio and equips the student with the necessary skills to handle the studio environment; how to respond to directors and producers, the control room , autocue cards, how to manage time and the technical equipment and safely and with efficiency. Students that complete this course successfully usually go on to take our scene study and actors program and our public speaking program.
